SEND

At Lift Ashingdon, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all pupils feel supported and valued. We follow The SEND Code of Practice to support children with special needs and disabilities. We carefully monitor each child's individual progress and make every effort to tailor their curriculum to their specific needs. Some children may receive help within the classroom from our team or they may follow an individual curriculum designed by their class teacher and SENDCo. Mrs Katy Overing is our SENDCO and you can contact her on kovering@liftashingdon.org.

The school actively promotes inclusion and aims to meet the needs of pupils across the learning spectrum. We provide support that is appropriate for children with specific learning needs. The SENDCo maintains an SEN register and we regularly review the progress of all pupils. Our commitment to inclusion also means we access a range of LA support and have a planned program of visits from the Educational Psychologist. We operate an equal opportunities policy for admissions. Priority is given to all children living within the school’s catchment area irrespective of attainment or impairment.
